Work at Home and Make Money Online with Your Computer
You can work at home and make money with your computer in more ways than one. My primary focus has been to familiarize you with what it takes to develop an online marketing website. After reviewing the preceding pages, you may have decided that it is not for you. Don't dismay! There are a good number of other ways to work at home using your computer. Many of them don't even require you to have a website.
With the economy in such bad shape, and jobs becoming less available every day, there is a great number of people looking to the attractive possibility of being their own boss, taking their fate into their own hands, using their computer and working at home. The internet is one way of making that possible.I have two goals in considering the 'work at home' subject with you. The first is to confirm what you may have heard. Yes, you can make money at home on your computer without necessarily creating your own website. There are some substantial programs available on the internet which you can join to make an income. The second goal is to alert you to what you may already have gathered from some of the other pages on this site. Namely - - - Beware the Scams!!! Nowhere are people being taken advantage of more than on websites offering opportunities for working at home. It is a pathetic but true fact that scavenger human beings have learned how to target other peoples' vulnerabilities for their own profit. For more on this topic click here for my article on:

I'm sorry if I sound mellow dramatic, but it makes me sick to see how these parasites target those who are struggling to make a living by promising them false hope. In trying to discover reputable programs to cite as references for you, I sometimes find myself getting depressed. But don't despair. There are ways to distinguish legitimate websites and work at home opportunities from the scams.
Here are some rules of thumb that will help you avoid becoming a victim of the scams. First, don't sign up for any program that asks for money before they accept you into their program. Remember you are the one who is willing to work at home for pay. Don't start out by paying someone else in order to find a way to get paid yourself. Your goal is to get paid, not to pay someone else. A legitimate company which is looking for employees is ready to hire you, not be hired by you. Most importantly and Secondly, check out any program that you think looks attractive and legitimate. By 'check out' I mean go on the internet and search for Independent User Reviews of that program. In the search box just type in 'User reviews of "Whatever the Name of the Program is".' If you can't find any user reviews, carefully scan the advertising of the program and look for any thing that sounds suspicious, including a lack of solid information about how the program works. If the program offers testimonials, read them carefully and be sensitive to how authentic they sound. Be careful of user reviews that are posted by the very program you are trying to get an independent review of. Check the user review url (the 'url' is the website name/address). If the url address and name is the same as the company you are trying to get an independent review of, then don't bother with it. To make an understatement - - - It may be just a little bit biased toward its own product or program. If you can't find any kind of independent review or evaluation, or if you do not feel confident that the program is legitimate, don't hesitate - - -look for another program! There is no need to get hooked in a scam, when there are other respectable programs available. If I seem to be giving this warning too much attention, it is because the statistics I have read indicate that anywhere from 80% to 95% of so called work at home programs advertised on the internet are scams. That sounds unbelievable. But, it is most likely true because there is not much in the way of screening on the internet. It is the wild west with very little regulation or law enforcement. The second amendment of our constitution often makes it difficult to identify those who are abusing our right to free speech. So be careful and don't become a victim.
